Business Systems Support Specialist – 15 month FTC

Overview of Responsibilities

U4BW is an ERP system supporting Finance, Procurement, HR, and System Administration across UKAEA and UK Fusion Energy, with a user base of approximately 2,200. This role provides 1st and 2nd line support to end users and professional users, resolving issues and maintaining system master data. It also manages service requests via the ITSM system and supports the administration of U4BW, including user access and day-to-day system processes.

Core responsibilites

  • Process new user and leaver requests, ensuring appropriate transfer or closure of system access and responsibilities.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end users via the Ivanti ITSM system, resolving incidents and service requests.
  • Support professional users of U4BW, including issue resolution and the creation and maintenance of master data.
  • Manage onboarding of U4BW users, ensuring correct access levels and Citrix setup.
  • Maintain and update U4BW system data, including position changes, substitution pools, and annual configuration updates.
  • Coordinate ITSM tickets, ensuring accurate status tracking and routing to appropriate process owners.
  • Liaise with U4 and external consultants to resolve complex issues and deliver service requests.
  • Manage system administration tasks, including inbox requests, task manager activities, and segregation of duties reviews.
  • Produce reports on user access and master data to support Business Systems leadership.
  • Support day-to-day administration and contribute to the development of training materials and process documentation.
