Overview of Responsibilities

    UKAEA’s pay arrangements and grading structure are currently under review as part of a transformation project and proposed multi-year pay deal. UKAEA aims to introduce a new grading structure in 2024. This will enable us to lead the delivery of sustainable fusion energy and maximise the scientific and economic benefit.     This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

    The Role

    This position supports the Talent Acquisition Advisor and wider Talent Acquisition team ensuring all new recruitment campaign requests from the organisation are advertised appropriately via Smart Recruiters and all interview arrangements and paperwork are in place, including organising and coordinating pre-screen and panel interviews and room bookings. 

    The Talent Acquisition Coordinator may also support initiatives to proactively source potential talent through social media and online CV platforms as well as ad hoc support to the Talent Acquisition Manager and general Talent Acquisition function.

    What will you be responsible for?

    • Process new talent acquisition requests from Hiring Managers via MS teams forms into our applicant tracking system.
    • Following up with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure timely approvals for job vacancies and offers in line with SLA’s
    • Managing the advertising process, including raising purchase orders.
    • Arrange pre-screening calls and panel interviews; contacting candidates (from the UK and overseas), booking virtual and physical meeting rooms, administering additional assessments and coordinating schedules via telephone and applicant tracking system.
    • Adhoc support to wider talent acquisition function when required.

    Due to the nature of the role this position can work in a hybrid manner with a minimum of 2 days on site working per week.
