Overview of Responsibilities

The salary for this role is £31,100.

Onsite working is expected for 3 days a week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working. 

This role can be based at the following site; Culham, Oxfordshire.

This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The Role

As Technical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in being the local information manager (LIM) for assigned project(s). As well as, creating, collating, and managing key technical documents for the whole project cycle in accordance with process requirements. Furthermore, creating and maintaining project-related databases and trackers e.g. quality control, purchase orders, changes, and ensure information is correct and up-to-date. As well as, checking and allocating correct information/document access rights on project databases (for internal parties). And also, assisting with preparations of technical reports, specification and tender documents and provide status updates as and when required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist managers with engineering procurement, processing, filing, and distribution of documents and chasing of actions.
  • Assist with and resolve document and procedure queries or escalate where/when appropriate.
  • Organise technical meetings, provide supporting documents/agenda, take minutes, and support relevant follow-up actions.
  • Share knowledge and ideas and provide support/informal training to others.
