Training, Development and Recruitment Advisor

Overview of Responsibilities

The salary for this role is £37,509. Onsite working is expected for 4 days a week, however, we actively support requests for flexible working. 

This role can be based at any of the following sites; Culham, Oxfordshire.

This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.

As Training, Development and Recruitment Advisor for the Tritium Fuel Cycle Division you will play a pivotal role developing the talented, diverse people needed to deliver fusion energy.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the divisional point of contact for UKEAE’s Learning and Development team, Communications team, Procurement team, Managed Service provider, and Third-Party training providers to ensure all training activities are delivered effectively.
  • Engaging with Talent Acquisition and Early Careers on day-to-day divisional recruitment activities, including screening applicants and interviewing to ensure a sufficient talent pipeline.
  • Gathering and analysing divisional data on training, development, and recruitment activities to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in working practices and supporting materials to enhance the training offer, outreach activities, and recruitment activities.
  • Reporting on activities and budgets to ensure quality and value for money is delivered. Escalate issues or non-standard activity where appropriate to TDR Manager.
