Technical Coordinator
Overview of Responsibilities
The salary for this role is £26,156. This role primarily requires onsite presence, with potential for remote work one day per week in the future after probation period.
This role is based at the following site; Culham, Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.

As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in acting as an advisor to project managers, lead engineers and project team members specifically specialising in UKAEA document management processes and project SharePoint deployment. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating project activities liaising directly with the senior managers and project managers to ensure delivery milestones.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as the SharePoint power user responsible for; site creation, site architecture design and permission management.
- Provide first line support for internal and external parties on UKAEA document management processes including training and user support.
- Actively support programmes and projects with the day-to-day UKAEA documents management process including, uploading to SharePoint and TDMS, formatting, attribute mapping, workflow tracking and distribution.
- Act as point of contact for project related queries.
- Responsible for collating, processing, and publishing project KPI’s and milestone tracking.
- Support the project(s) change management process and procedures.
- Organise and facilitate effective technical meetings by handling logistics, recording minutes, following up on action items, and chairing project-related meetings.
Qualifications
Essential
- Demonstrable experience working in a complex technical environment.
- IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access and SharePoint.
- Excellent technical report writing skills.
- Excellent people skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
